Ascension Tier 1 is finally here! Level up permanently between matches and obtain Soul Shards which can be used for powerful upgrades!
5 Soul Shards are required in order to access the Ascension system which opens up the door for 15 powerful upgrades which push you through a few of the higher difficulties.
You can choose only 3 paths in this system all of which gives a unique Pickup ability per path which alters game play and build types significantly.
Each path is assigned an Element which will be useful for Tier 2 of Ascension which we will release at a later stage.
Our extended trailer theme now plays in the credits view
Camera Movement is now always centered on the player
Previously this would lag behind by quite a bit and the faster movement speed you had, the worse it got.
We’re still taking feedback on this on our discord or our steam discussions, but we feel that this makes for more responsive gameplay currently.
Camera Zoom is now slightly further away from the game world
Game Summary now has experience and level animations as well as audio
Game Summary laughter/mockery audio now plays after experience gain and global level up audio
Game summary now uses comma separation in big numbers
Game Summary now shows Time alive as X day(s) hours, minutes and seconds instead of total seconds
Added Ascension path elements to stat summary in-game
Added Ascension unique unlocks to stat summary in-game

Ascension paths can now easily be re-configured at no respec cost

Added Healing Pickup which doubles healing received

Breakable Spawn Rates have been increased by 40% to make all breakables remain at their old spawn rates
Pickups affected by Ascension Unique Unlock traits now have different colors
Double Damage Pickup will now be colored more red while Havoc is active
Double Damage now deals Quadruple Damage while Havoc is active
Double Healing Pickup will now be colored red while Embrace or Feast is active
Double Healing Pickup now heals 4x while Embrace is active
Double Healing Pickup now doubles health regeneration speed while Feast is active
Double Experience Pickup now gives Quadruple Experience if Avarice is active
Double Experience Pickup Icon is now more red while Avarice is active
Magnet Pickup now lasts twice as long while Avarice is active
MagnetPickup Icon is now more red while Avarice is active
Slow Time Pickup now lasts 50% longer while Grudge is active
Slow Time Pickup icon is now colored red while Grudge is active
Thorns Pickup icon is now more red while Backlash is active
Thorns Pickup now deals 10000% Armor as damage to attackers while Backlash is active
Thorns Pickup lasts twice as long while Backlash is active
Power of the True God icon is now more red while Vampirism is active
