Patch notes are imported from steam. There may be errors. This mostly exists so I can stay on top of them to update the features in our tags and scoring categories (which I do manually), but since many of you liked the idea of staying up to date with all the games in one place I'm working on making this data automated (right now I manually hit it every couple days) with better info and linking in with the game views.

There will be more data and proper atribution here (original author, steam link, original post date, etc) real soon, I promise. This is just like a technical test to see if they're coming in ok at all.

Hello, each other-world-survivors! I’m Ghost from Rolling Studios.

First of all, I’d like to thank you all for supporting me and our art designer ‘Succulent Plant’! It’s been almost 1 month since the game was released, and I’d like to do a little recap, talk to you all about what’s been going on lately, and post some plans.

We’ve received a lot of comments, suggestions, bugs and feedbacks on the game experience since the launch of the Early Access version, and we apologize for the bad experiences that the old versions has brought you, but at the same time, we’re very grateful that we’ve been able to get the support and tolerance of all the Early Access version players, thank you all!

Recently, we maintain a daily update rhythm, we’ve done bug fixes, difficulty adjustment, gameplay content adding up, game experience optimization and other works, which includes the operation experience enhancement of Elena, lower down game difficulty, remake the adaption of controller , the new gameplay mechanism witch allows players to edit the rule of the Barrels’ item droping.

In order to bring you a better game experience, we will try to modify the game’s basic gameplay rules, and nearly half of the content will be pushed back and redone. The whole redoing process will likely last 15-20 days or longer, but we will make sure that we have been working hard for this game and we will do our best to finish the redo as soon as possible. More new gameplay, new skills, new relics, new battlefield props, new achievements, etc. will continue to be added and improved after the remake is complete. It is possible that the current version of the update will be suspended during the redo, but bug fixes will still be made.

Currently, an “Overtime Protocol” gameplay mechanism is available to enrich your gaming experience.
The “Overtime Protocol” allows players to extend their game time (up to 10 times) by clicking on the “Overtime Protocol” after 12 minutes of survival, which does not conflict with the “Challenge of the Dominator”. There are no achievements for “Overtime Protocol” for now, as it is a temporary addition and may be removed after the remake is complete.

Below is a summary of the recent changelog.

Added:
-Added “Overtime Protocol” to the result page, allowing players to continue the game after 12 minutes, but with an additional *150% of monster blood per wave, and an additional +150% of player experience gained.
-Added the base gameplay for the “Bing in Wonder World” character. We’ll add an chosable initial companion weapon, the zither, as well as Bing’s Special Skill (E) and Definitive Kill Skill (Q) in the future.
-Added a new Rules Edit page, where you can now edit the rule of the Barrels’ item droping, and you decide which props will be swiped from the barrel, but you need to choose at least 3 of them.
-Added “Mount Taishan Can” and “Little Hammer Can”, which need to be purchased with gold coins on the unlock page.
-Added the props “Ultimate Potion”, which can accelerate the cooldown of Ultimate Skill, and will begin to participate in random drops after players reach level 30 if it’s drop is enabled.
-Completed all the characters’ drawings.
-Fixed the animation of Moonlight’s Ultimate Skill, repaired the bug of Valkyrie’s Ultimate Skill animation displaying abnormality.The Ultimate Skill of other characters will be supplemented and perfected one after another in the future.
-Added the function of displaying detailed play information in the Steam friends list.
-Added support for Traditional Chinese and Japanese in the Steam client’s achievement introduction.

Changes:
-Completely remade the input system to optimize the interaction logic of each page in the game, and now you can use the joystick to play the game normally, and the joystick control mode basically covers all the operations of the game.
-Reworked Elena’s Fire Breathe so that she can now “fling snipers”.
-The game help page has been remade, please click the “?” button on the home page or the pause menu of the battle scene for details.
-Skill labels have been changed from icons to text, and will continue to be optimized.
-Improved the initial pawn number of the King’s Chess Order by 2->4. The King now gets 2 pawns per skill upgrade.
-Thunderballs thrown by Skeleton Mages are deflected instead of being aimed at the player. Significantly nerfed Skeleton Mage’s skill CD.
-Downgraded the flight speed of Dungeon Dominator – Mourner’s skill – “Air Drop Fist”, to give players more time to escape from his attck.
-True Red Magnet Enhancement: -5% experience gain -> +8% experience gain.
-Shadow Magnet Enhancement: -8% experience gain -> +5% experience gain.
-Greedy Magnet Enhancement: +15% experience gain -> +20% experience gain.
-Amplifier changes: -20% movement speed -> +10% cooldown time.
-Removed some misleading decorative barrels on the ground in the Map 1 Deep Dungeon.
-Enhanced the upgrade option for Moonlight’s companion skill “Ice Blast”: “Amount +1, but CD +1 sec” has now been changed to “Quantity +1, but CD +0.5 sec”.
-You can now quickly go back to the previous page during a battle scene by pressing Esc/Controller B/Mouse Right Click.You can continue game by pressing Esc/Controller Menu when paused.

Fixes:
-Fixed a bug where the King’s promotion page and Stomy’s organ mutation page were displayed abnormally in low resolution.
-Fixed the bug that the skills of Stomy and Bing did not obtain some Other World Survivor ability boosts.
-Fixed the bug that Robin’s and King’s skill did not obtain “Electrified Weapon” ability boost.
-Fixed the bug that some skills could not damage the barrels.
-Fixed the bug that the Relics were displayed incorrectly and the Relics details could not be viewed on the battle scene.
-Fixed a fatal bug where using the Snowball Staff for too long could cause the game to drop frames.
-Fixed the fatal bug where Tracking Wind Blades blades could potentially cause the game to crash.
-Educated the mind of Bing’s Partisan, now it won’t run away from player because it has a mind of its own, as well as modified the firing mechanic.
-Fixed the Black Hole damage loss bug.
-Fixed the bug where it was possible for hearts (blood restoration item) to not restore blood

Follow-up development plans:

As a newcomer of game developer, I have only a development plan within our studio, which is usually not open to the public, because the program development is only by myself, and once something happens at home, or when I’ve got some healthy issues, the development progress will be greatly affected.
However, for the love of game development and strict requirements of many players for the game, and their support for the game’s concept and gameplay design, I feel that I must improve the game as soon as possible, and I cannot let them down, so I will simply announce the update plan as follows:

-Continue to fix bugs that affect the flow of the game.
-Optimize some of issues that many players have complained about.
-Modify unreasonable numerical issues and possibly redo some numerical designs.
-More characters, more character drawings and graphic representations.
-Change the current classic survivor mode to waves gameplay with certain characteristics.
-Remake the access to skills and abilities so that players can grow quickly.
-Remake the relic system so that it can be more compatible and interesting with the revamped wave play style.
-Possibly adding a feature that allows players to “remodel” skills they’ve already acquired, so we’re looking forward to that.
