Otherworld survivors! Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you so much to all of you EA Edition players for your support and tolerance!
Also a lot of players have said we’ve absconded!
Next, we’ll report back to you on what we’ve been updating recently and what we plan to update in the future.
It’s been nearly 4 months since we announced the redo of some of our game content on July 18th, and we’ve basically completed the revamping and redoing of our gameplay as well as major content updates.
- The acquisition of active skills has been changed to using gems to purchase them, so players can tap on the upgrade page at any time and purchase and upgrade skills as long as they have enough gems.
- The acquisition method of passive abilities has been changed to use upgrade points to purchase, and there is no limit to the number, so players can learn as many as they want, making builds more free. At the same time, players can choose whether or not to force the upgrade page to jump out every time they upgrade.
- Relics can be purchased on the upgrade page, and the relic store will refresh items in certain waves, so if you want to buy them, you have to buy them before it’s too late. The limit on the number of relics has also been removed, so as long as you have gems, you can buy them.
- New “Skill Sewing” gameplay has been added, now you can sew 2 skills together, some special combinations will produce unique combos, and normal combinations will make 2 skills cooldown and trigger together. Players can stitch 1 group at level 0, 2 groups at level 20, and 3 groups at level 40, and combinations that attempt to exceed the stitch limit will replace earlier stitch combinations.
- The following carriers and stitches have been largely patched up with relevant features.
- Carriers: fried chicken, flame spit, ice crystal blast, tornado, hook lock, meteor hammer.
- Stitched Objects: snowball, sacred magic hammer, icicle, fiery foot, frost foot, black hole.
- Carrier * Stitches, combinations up to 6*6=36.
- Skills containing the “Carrier” and “Stitch” tags can participate in Stitching.
- Added a new racing hero, “Shirley.”
- Can be purchased at the Hero Shop.
- Shirley can drive a car on a rampage, and press E to switch gears between high speed and low speed gears.
- When speed exceeds 110, the following effects will be gained: immunity to damage, traumatize enemies, and create open enemies.
- Driving in high speed gear will increase fuel consumption, and when it runs out, it will fall into a 2 second paralyzed state and quickly regain fuel.
- Added utility skill “Frost Foot”, no unlock required, labeled Stitches, Ice.
- Added new utility skill “Meteor Hammer”, labeled as Carrier, Iron Weapon, Projectile Weapon, and will appear in the skill pool after purchasing it on the unlock page.
- Added 6 new relics related to barrels, “Barrel Perspective”, “Barrel Party”, “Big Belly Barrel”, “Barrel Idol “, “Fragile Barrel”, and “Shattered Barrel Fetish”.
- Added the battlefield item “Wooden Fish”, which can be purchased on the Unlocked page and enabled/disabled on the Rules Edit page.
- Added Experience Gems skins “Cell”, “Pie and Naan”, Nordic Shield skin “Basketball”, “Shirley ” skin: Black Sports Car, which can be purchased on the Unlocked page.
- Added King and Mourner must-haves and must-have animations.
- Updated some of the characters’ stand-ups.
- Sydney’s drive into a wall will bounce off the wall and swing into a dangduangduangduang bumper car, reducing the likelihood that you racers will die violently from wall crashes.
- Scandinavian Shield now has a limit on the number of times it can bounce, initially 5 bounces, removed “Range +30%.” Removed “Range +30%.” upgrade, added “Bounce +1.” upgrade.
- Rapier now has a limit on the number of times it can penetrate, initially 5 times, and now gains +1 penetration when upgrading the “Rapier will return” option.
- Fixed the bug where the “Invitation to the King” and “Begin the Trial” achievements could not be earned after the revamp, and modified the achievement descriptions. (Fixed on October 14)
- Fixed a bug where the Chain Lightning Staff could split infinitely and its damage stats were not displayed (Fixed on July 28)
- Fixed the bug where the “Automatically popup upgrade page” was frequently disabled.
- Fixed some text display errors and some known UI-related bugs.
- Fixed some bugs related to menu opening/closing.
- Fixed the bug that the skill pages of King and Dot could not be opened correctly due to the gameplay revamp.
- Stitch tower defense gameplay into map 3.
- Lots of additions to skill stitching combos.
- Massive replenishment of mechanic-based relics to expand the gameplay genre and richness of the game.
- Continuing to fill in all heroes’ must-have skills (Q) and special skills (E).
- More new skills, abilities, and battlefield props, with some brainstorming novelties thrown in.
- Balance the value of different options by replacing the mechanic of damage automatically increasing with skill level with different options that increase different damage values.
- Add endless mode to every map.
- Added Challenge Factors to all new maps. Players can choose their own Challenge Factor before entering a map to achieve an achievement or increase their Endless Mode score.
- Added a large number of in-game achievements for players to challenge and achieve.

I’d like to apologize to everyone for always being exhausted between work and burying my head in liver progress and neglecting to release Steam updates lately!
We’ve been working on Otherworld Survivor since July 18th, and we’ve been keeping a Simplified Chinese update log on our in-game “Update Log” page. So please don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere! We’re not going anywhere! This game is like our child, we want to watch it grow up and improve little by little!
Although we deeply understand that there are still many problems and shortcomings in Otherworld Survivor, we implore all players to give us another chance to reevaluate our game after playing the new version.
We hope that those players who have given us a bad review because of the bad experience we had with the game will change their reviews if possible, it’s very important to us, thank you all!
