Patch notes are imported from steam. There may be errors. This mostly exists so I can stay on top of them to update the features in our tags and scoring categories (which I do manually), but since many of you liked the idea of staying up to date with all the games in one place I'm working on making this data automated (right now I manually hit it every couple days) with better info and linking in with the game views.

There will be more data and proper atribution here (original author, steam link, original post date, etc) real soon, I promise. This is just like a technical test to see if they're coming in ok at all.

Hi everyone,

Hope you’re all doing well. I’ve been working on adding a boss and a dark mode. Currently, there is an issue that has led me to decide that dark mode can’t be turned on/off between runs, but you can toggle dark mode on/off in the settings on the title screen. Until I find a solution to the issue, I hope you enjoy it!

Changes:

  • Added a dark mode.
  • Added 1 boss.
  • Added 1 new achievement.
  • Glassblade now starts with 4 max hearts, but all incoming damage is doubled.
  • Glassblade’s ability cooldown is increased to 3 seconds.
  • The explosion created from Bomblade’s ability now deals more damage (from 18 to 23), has a wider radius, and can destroy enemies’ projectiles.
  • The ability’s cooldown changes from a number countdown to a fade-out effect.
  • If enemies get frozen while they are about to attack, they’ll keep shaking to indicate to the player.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where the Alarm Clock doesn’t work after wave 49.
  • Fixed a bug where UFO’s laser collision was bigger than it should be.
  • Fixed a bug where you got a lower score than it should be when you kill Boblinja (Goblin Ninja).
  • Fixed a bug where Dumbbell’s damage stacks sometimes didn’t restart after taking damage.
  • Fixed a bug where Boxing Gloves’ damage stacks didn’t restart after losing a combo.

I’ll be working on adding some more quality of life improvements next. Feel free to leave any suggestions if there’s anything you’d like me to add 🙂
