In contrast to many mowing games or casual survivors-likes on the list, a manic shooter generally is a bullet hell that challenges the player’s reflex speed as much as memorization or strategy. In other words, the enemy bullets come quickly and constantly and they generally do a great deal of damage if not killing you outright in one shot.
