Patch notes are imported from steam. There may be errors. This mostly exists so I can stay on top of them to update the features in our tags and scoring categories (which I do manually), but since many of you liked the idea of staying up to date with all the games in one place I'm working on making this data automated (right now I manually hit it every couple days) with better info and linking in with the game views.

There will be more data and proper atribution here (original author, steam link, original post date, etc) real soon, I promise. This is just like a technical test to see if they're coming in ok at all.

Eldritch Exterminators » The Boss Boogie Update is available now!

Greetings and Salutations soldiers of light and dark! Today we bring you some funky new beats to battle to, along with a new Boss to terrorize you. Keep an “eye” out for him, lest he scare you to your bones! We did a lot of tuning to enemy health and spawn weight. A couple QOL features were added to show you when your dashes are ready to use and what your shield status is. Readability is key, and we want you to know when you are ready to fly or take a hit.

A lot of tuning around Artifacts happened, with a focus on Rate of Fire, to ensure the builds are more dynamic and everyone doesn’t go for the same artifacts over and over. These, along with the aforementioned spawn and health changes should lead to a more intense and strategic experience in each run. With some new enemy behavior snuck in there, we think there might be some fun scenarios for players to contend.

We are also expecting a price increase to $4.99 after the Autumn Sale ends, so let anyone who might be interested know to get in before the change!

  • Added five new songs that play every three minutes, related to the boss or wave of the time stamp
  • Added a new Boss that appears at 5:30 minutes
  • Added a new enemy: The Charger
  • Added an animation to better understand when dash charges come back

Changes

  • Changed the color of the boss health bar
  • Blast no longer happens on Pierce or Bounce
  • Mimics can now charge
  • Slime Quintet now spawns at 8:30 minutes rather than 7 minutes
  • Slime King now spawns at 2:30 minutes rather than 2 minutes
  • Smoothed out the Tribulation difficulty curve
  • Boomer Slime now speeds up when it gets closer
  • Mudders’ mud now decays faster when applying mud debuff
  • Reduced the size of all shields
  • Ghosts and Skulls now start spawning earlier
  • Slimes now stop spawning earlier
  • Slime King now fires a 9 Nova on death
  • Improved Readability of the font
  • Updated the controls tutorial
  • Dretch Bane Unlock Condition: 8000 -> 7200 Kills
  • Madrugar Unlock Condition: 800 -> 760 RPM

Fixes

  • Fixed Scorching Blight not applying DoT
  • Fixed map objectives collecting souls
  • Fixed several typos
  • Fixed Second Wind not giving the correct number of dash charges
  • Fixed Cursed Timebend having the wrong tags
  • Fixed several issues related to blast
  • Fixed Projectiles not having the correct hitbox size
  • Fixed objects other than the player causing the player to obtain mud stacks
  • Fixed not being able to unlock the Soul of the Damned
  • Fixed a crash when returning to the main menu
  • Fixed ghosts spawning during the ghost wave when the game was paused
  • Fixed Shield had a hitbox way better than intended
