Patch notes are imported from steam. There may be errors. This mostly exists so I can stay on top of them to update the features in our tags and scoring categories (which I do manually), but since many of you liked the idea of staying up to date with all the games in one place I'm working on making this data automated (right now I manually hit it every couple days) with better info and linking in with the game views.

There will be more data and proper atribution here (original author, steam link, original post date, etc) real soon, I promise. This is just like a technical test to see if they're coming in ok at all.

Hello everyone,

More info at the end of the post! This update is a major milestone for us, as it includes a ton of new content and significant improvements to the overall gameplay experience.

First and foremost, we are introducing a brand new item family: summoning! You will now be able to summon powerful cats, totems and living dead pigeons to fight alongside you in battle.

In addition we’re adding over 50 new items to the game, giving players even more options for customizing their playstyle. Additionally, we’re introducing 7 new bosses for you to battle, each with their own unique mechanics and challenges.

We’ve also redesigned the beginning of the game, with over 45 objectives to complete in order to build up your arsenal and prepare yourself for the challenges ahead. This should make for a much more engaging and rewarding early game experience.

On top of all that, we’re also rolling out a big graphical and sound update to enhance the overall immersion of the game. And for our French players, we’ve added translations to help make the game more accessible. You can also upload a community translation into Steam Workshop.

Finally, we’ve done a big balancing pass on the game, tweaking stats and abilities to ensure that the gameplay is as fair and fun as possible.

Please keep in mind that this is a beta release, so there may be some bugs and issues that we’re still working to address. But we’re eager to get your feedback and hear your thoughts on all the new content and improvements that we’ve added.

To join the experimental branch : Right click on the game in the library > property > betas > write the code “b7ZjmcBuTIvMEyfSsO8P” in the box made for this purpose > choose experimental in the dropdown menu.

Patch Note – 0.4 :

Objectives and unlockables (and achievements) :
The game includes a brand new progression system. This system gives you objectives and gameplay directions, while allowing you to unlock new artifacts and expand your arsenal! There are a total of about 35 new objectives. You can find them all in the unlockable part.

French translation and Community translation with Workshop :
The French translation is officially included in the game. Moreover, you can find in the forum a tutorial to make your own translations and then send them to the workshop

New Bosses :

  • Lightmancer : Create small random areas around the player. The zones explode after a certain time.
  • Volcanomancer : Create medium random areas around the boss. The zones explode after a certain time.
  • Doomancer : Create a huge zone at the foot of the player. The zones explode after a certain time.
  • Geomancer : Create a zone around the player, which explodes into several small zones around the first point of impact. The zones explode after a certain time.
  • Magician : Create a zone at the player’s feet. The zone chases the player when he runs away. The zone explodes after a certain time.
  • Pyromancer : Create a multitude of small zones, one after the other, at the player’s feet. The zones explode after a certain time.
  • Wavemancer : Create areas in the form of 3 successive circles around it. The zones explode after a certain time.

New Starter :
Bastet – Start with Ella. The range and damage of the weapon is reduced, but the summoning damage is increased.

New Items :

  • Fire Totem : You summon a fire totem around you every 5 seconds. It will make a flame area appear at its position. The totem will stay in place for 4 seconds before disappearing. The size of the fire zone is based on the damage modifier of the summons. Upgradeable.
  • Zeus Totem : You summon a lightning totem around you every 5 seconds. It will zap pigeons around him every second. The totem will stay in place for 4 seconds before disappearing. Upgradeable.
  • Life Totem : You summon a totem at your feet when you level up. This totem increases your physical and magical damage and your shooting speed. The effect of the aura of the totem is reinforced by the power of summoning.
  • Explosive Totem : You summon an explosive totem around you every 5 seconds. It will explode at its position. The totem will stay in place for 4 seconds before disappearing. The size and damage of the explosion is based on the damage modifier of the summons. Upgradeable.
  • Time Totem : You summon a time totem around you every 25 seconds. It will make a time zone that slowing down enemies inside.
  • Arcane Totem : You summon an arcane totem around you every 5 seconds. An arcane orb orbits around the totem. The totem remains in place for 4 seconds before disappearing. Upgradeable.
  • Defensive Drone Mark I : Deploys a drone that orbits very slowly around the player and can block the shots of the pigeons. The speed is based on the speed of the summons.
  • Agressive Drone Mark I : Deploys a drone that orbits around an enemy and inflicts damage to the enemies it passes through. The speed is based on the summoner’s casting speed and the damage on the summoner’s damage.
  • Sniper Drone Mark I : Deploys a drone that orbits around the player and shoots at enemies. Shootspeed is based on the summoner’s casting speed and damage on the summoner’s damage and bullet damage.
  • Radio Tower : You set up a radio tower to encourage your invocations.
  • Quignon : Every 40 seconds, you throw a piece of bread to the pigeons, attracting them.
  • Hive : Aristaeus has installed a hive in your home. The bees patrol around the house and attack pigeon on sight. Upgradable
  • NecroTower : You have a chance of resurrecting pigeons at your side. Upgradable.
  • Ella/Qwerty/Naboo/Achille : There are cats. They don’t like pigeons. They are here to attack them and to protect your house !
  • Arcane Orb : Creates an orbiting arcane orb around the player that does the magic damage. Upgradable.
  • Blank Bullet : Every 30 seconds, emits a shock wave that destroys enemy projectiles.

Gameplay Changes :
If conditions are met, Upgrade 5 are nearly guaranted when leveling up.
You can activate an Autoaim in settings
Add 2 news upgrades : Reroll and choice
Exiting the game give dusts.
Skipping a level give 100 dusts.
Game is harder, more pigeons !
New sound effect for enemy bullet

Visual Changes :
The game is now zoomed by default (+10% zoom)
Some projectiles now move smoothly
A lot of new icons for artifacts.
House damage are now visible.

Amaterasu’s Sun – Upgrade 3 magic damage change from 100% to 70%
Amaterasu’s Sun – Upgrade 5 increase fire damage by 300%
Anti Pigeon League – Upgrade 3 bullet damage change from 100% to 70%
Arcane Blast – Upgrade 4 magic damage change from 50 to 40%
Arcane Sentry – Upgrade 4 magic damage change from 100 to 70%
ADS – Upgrade 3 explosion multiplier change from 50 to 30%
ADS – Upgrade 4 bullet damage change from 100 to 70%
