Patch notes are imported from steam. There may be errors. This mostly exists so I can stay on top of them to update the features in our tags and scoring categories (which I do manually), but since many of you liked the idea of staying up to date with all the games in one place I'm working on making this data automated (right now I manually hit it every couple days) with better info and linking in with the game views.

There will be more data and proper atribution here (original author, steam link, original post date, etc) real soon, I promise. This is just like a technical test to see if they're coming in ok at all.

New Content

We’ve added a new terrain system so that the map doesn’t always look like the same boring grass fields. Terrain is now dynamically generated for each run and has multiple types of terrain that have different effects when you or enemies step on them.

Grass

Has no effect, just like before.

Dirt

Slightly slows you and other mobs when you step on it.

Water

Slows you and other mobs substantially but slowly heals the player over time (and only the player).

Rock

Grants additional speed to both you and enemies.

Toxic

Slows and deal damage over time to anything that steps on it.

A HUGE shout out to ZeroByte011 for the original idea and initial code work on the new terrain system! Really amazing job he did. Loved that we were able to push it across the finish line and make something pretty amazing!
